Graded Music Exams > General Information
On occasion, RSL may record face-to-face exams using either video or audio. The candidate will be contacted in advance to request permission for RSL to retain and use these recordings for training and benchmarking purposes. Recordings will not be made available in the public domain and will be held for a maximum of 6 years.
Separate terms and conditions apply for live video and recorded video examinations.
No person other than RSL is permitted to make any recordings of the exam. Devices such as mobile phones, tablets and Apple watches must be switched off / inactive unless being used to facilitate playback of backing tracks. RSL reserves the right to take appropriate action against anyone suspected of covertly recording an examination.
