Graded Music Exams > Recorded Digital Exams
Every Graded Music Exam is linked to the person who made the entry ("Payee" or "Entrant"). The exam video for Recorded Digital Exams is uploaded by this person.
However, in some cases someone else (e.g. the candidate themselves or their teacher) is handling the video file. To make it easier, the Payee can send an "Upload Link" to someone else. The recipient of the link does not require a RSL account. The link enables them to upload the video file on behalf of the Payee.
Please follow these steps:
- Locate the exam via https://cloud.rslawards.com/secure/exams
- Click on the link "Send Upload Link"
- Enter the email address of the recipient. Please check the spelling.
- Click "Sending Upload Video Link"
- You will see a green confirmation message
- The recipient of the link will receive an email containing a link and a password
- They need to open the link. They don't need to have a RSL account, but it also does not matter if they are logged in with a RSL account.
- After clicking the link, the recipient will need to enter the password contained in the email and click on "Next"
- Then they will select the video file by clicking on "Select files ..." and confirming the file selection. In addition to the video file, sheet music files for free choice pieces can be selected.
- Tick the box to confirm permission to upload on behalf of the candidate.
- Click on "Upload Video Exam"
- The upload may take a while, depending on file size and connection bandwidth. Please do not interrupt the upload and ensure the device does not enter any "Sleep" mode.
- Once the upload is successful, a green confirmation page will be shown.
- Both, the uploader and the Payee receive an email confirmation.
